Tsang Hen Loon, Raymond, is Non-Executive Director of the Company
With over 20 years of experience in the electronic components industry, Mr. Tsang had held various positions in this industry segment. Mr. Tsang was Marketing Director and Strategic Business Development Director for National Semiconductor (Asia-Pacific) before he joined Sunrise Group in Hong Kong as Managing Director of Sunrise Technology (HK) in 1995. In 1997, Mr. Tsang joined Pericom Semiconductor, a California based semiconductor company (NASDAQ: PSEM) as Vice President and General Manager of Pericom’s subsidiary in Shanghai. In 2000, Mr. Tsang rejoined Sunrise Technology (HK) as Chief Executive officer. With the successful acquisition of Sunrise Technology’s electronic components distribution business in May 2001 by Avnet Inc., a major US mutinational corporation and the world’s largest distributor of electronic components, Mr. Tsang was appointed President of Avnet Sunrise Limited and Regional Director for Hong Kong and PRC region. In March 2002, Mr. Tsang was promoted to President of Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia.
With the extensive experience in corporate management and strategic business planning, Mr. Tsang was invited to rejoin SIM Technology Group in January 2005. In this connection, Mr. Tsang had ceased his employment with Avnet Asia Pte Limited while accepted to remain as an external consultant for the company.
Graduated in 1981 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mr. Tsang holds a Bachelor of Science degree with specialization in electrical engineering. In 1993, Mr. Tsang earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from East Asia Open Institute of the University of East Asia, Macau.
